Image Stabilization
Image stabilization does a great job and doesn’t have a noticeable drain on the battery. It gives the user a chance to use the lens without tripod, even in low light. This feature is a huge plus when you don’t have a tripod. Its effect is equivalent to a shutter speed 4 stops faster. This means that if the slowest shutter speed you could formerly hold a 250mm lens steadily was 1/250th of a second, with Canon’s 4-stop stabilization correction, you could hand-hold at shutter speeds as slow as 1/15th of a second. It lets you take amazing pictures at high resolution and zoom.

Auto Focus
Auto focus produces great shots throughout the zoom range. Great value for the money and a wonderful compliment to Canon’s EOS rebel cameras. The auto focus works fast even at 250mm. Picture quality is great as well. It focuses quickly and accurately.

Construction
The construction of ef-s 55-250mm is pretty light at 14.5 oz weight which is great for travel. It is made of plastic but the built quality is quite good and it’s an advantage to those who like to travel a lot and bring their camera with them. This is very portable and you won’t even notice you’re carrying it. It may feel somewhat cheap as it is very light, but it does the job.

The lowest setting, 55mm, is not good for close up photos though. This Canon ef-s lenses is not made for those up close, fast action shots. But at 250mm focal length, it produces reasonable good bokeh effect. For great up close, I suggest getting 18mm-55mm.

For those who have stepped up to the Digital, you will love this lens. It provides awesome quality, good range of close up and zoom for distance. This is perfect for action shots of sports at full zoom where the image stabilization works its wonders. It is truly wonderful and provides spectacular clear images. In my opinion, this lens is one of the best investments I’ve made.

Canon 50mm 1.8 Review

Wide Aperture
The wide aperture of canon 50mm 1.8 lens is really outstanding. You administer with your flash and handhold at levels that you would not have expected. When you get away from flash use at lowlight photography or taking photos at night, you will experience some truly amazing colors that flash oftentimes eradicates.

Fixed Lens
If you have never used before a fixed lens that doesn’t zoom or a prime lens, then expect a pleasant surprise. Decent zooms are normally expensive as it is far more cheaper to build a quality prime than to build a quality zoom. Zooms are also only at their best within their extent. The 50mm 1.8 canon lens doesn’t move, and so has been optimally designed for its focal length. The shots using this ef lens are perfect and the ability to crop is amazing. Shots at medium apertures are indeed astounding and are sharp at all aperture ranges.

Built
The gauziness of the build is very obvious when compared to older canon lenses as it is made of plastic. Most old canon lenses are made in metal chassis which can often stand drops and still operate. This is not so for this ef lens. However, with its very affordable price, you couldn’t be more happier. Canon may have skimped on the body, but they didn’t cut corners on the glass.

Beautiful Bokeh Effect

This is a great lens for any photographer. It works best with portrait photography wherein you can blur the image in a way that is pleasing to the eye or what we often call a bokeh effect. It is also great for nature sports, landscapes and the like. Everything that is in focus is amazingly sharp.

For the price, you can’t beat it. It may be made of plastic but it’s great. If you don’t want to go through the hassle of increasing the iso or mess with shutter with other lens, you just pop this lens in and it brightens things up.

Construction
This new digital camera of Canon has relatively strong construction of a stainless steel frame with polycarbonate body. It is also easy to grip and very portable. You can easily carry it anywhere you go.

Pictures
This easy to use digital camera produces superb photos and true to color. I’m pretty impressed how I can get beautiful pictures and sharp images. You’ll get professional quality pictures when using canon eos rebel t3i. I guess the best way to store happy memories is by taking pictures and videos that’s why I’m really happy I decided to replace my old one with this instead of buying discount digital cameras. It is worth every penny you spend!

Videos
This is one of the best features of canon eos rebel t3i. The dynamic range of light is awesome and takes great video in 1080p and 720p. It also works even in low light. However, some people I know complain about this new digital camera of Canon not having an autofocus. Although some may find it a bit bothersome, you can always focus it manually so I still think this product works great. Canon also incorporates the Video Snapshot feature from its camcorders. You can snap up to 8-second clips and some in camera special effects filters.

Display
While reading Canon eos rebel t3i Review, I had learned that it has a fantastic clear display. I prove it after I bought this camera and started it. LCD screen
The movable LCD screen is totally cool. With my old cam, I found that lower shots or excessively high shots were difficult. But now with this articulating screen, spending a few more dollars is worth it especially with the T3i’s wireless capabilities with an external flash.

User Friendly
This is one of the most easy to use digital camera in my opinion by far. You don’t have to be a pro to know how this new digital camera of canon works. The T3i has less Menu and Custom Function setting options compared to other models released by canon which could confuse amateur photographers. It’s really easy to operate and just within minutes, you’ll perfectly know the basics and take good quality pictures. Its clear menus help you learn how to operate with ease without even checking the manual. Though, I would suggest you read the manual as it will help you a lot if you like to get more impressive photos.

Warranty
Canon offers 1 year warranty from purchase date. This limited warranty covers all defects encountered in normal use of the product. However, if you would like to purchase an extended warranty, Amazon.com offers a range of warranty terms for their products from 2 to 3 years.

This camera serves as an update to the Canon Rebel T1i. It has some notable enhancements to its video capabilities, enhanced LCD, an updated metering scheme inherited from the 7D, and a resolution jump to 18 megapixels. It also has improvements in design with larger more accessible buttons.

Canon Rebel T2i Review

Construction
Canon rebel eos t2i is very small and light. It’s about 0.6 inch deeper compared to T1i but its body weighs the same 18.6 ounces and looks extremely similar to the T1i. It has a very comfortable grip, textured and rubberized and workable for single-handed shooting. Durable build, yet not made out of heavy metallic materials as many DSLR cameras are. Its control layout is almost identical to the T1i’s. But many of the buttons are redesigned which made this newly released dSLR to be flatter and a tad harder to feel. There’s also a dedicated button for jumping into the Quick Control panel. However, the control layout is the same as it’s been for many generations, and the layout pretty much works. Canon did move the button that doubles as movie record and Live View enable.

Low Light Performance
canon eos 550d rebel t2i not only can go up to a significantly higher ISO level, but performs much better compared to Rebel T1i. You have to waste less time editing your pics.

Image Quality
Image quality is pretty good! Canon rebel eos t2i has excellent photo and video quality which is comparable to high end Canon model cameras. However, I would suggest you would use fast SD cards to get the best results. It produces usable images up to ISO 3200. I’m thrilled with the photos I have gotten so far! This is really a great buy in my opinion based on performanace and price.

HD Video
The HD video capability is perfect and very clear. The AF points are accurate and view finder is very bright. Takes good pictures with low and medium ISO up to 400. I’m loving the large LCD display and its clarity. Much better resolution than expensive cameras. Canon rebel eos t2i outguns many of the ‘upper entry level’ and mid range SLRs on the market today in terms of specs.

Canon also includes Creative Auto mode. It has capabilities you can view as an advanced Auto mode or dumbed-down Program mode. It is also noticeable that it replaces shutter and aperture adjustment options with two sliding scales: Exposure – brighter or darker and Background – blurred or sharp. This function implicitly adjust shutter speed and aperture. It’s an increasingly common approach for beginners who’d like to take some chances. This camera also retains My Menu, which lets users build a go-to list of the most frequently accessed menu settings. Canon also adopts the interactive control panel for directly changing most shooting settings via the information display on the LCD which can be accessed thru the Q button.
